Bill-name acronyms

The other day, I heard about my favorite bill-name acronym in ages. The acronym in the Stop STUPIDITY Act stands for “Shutdowns Transferring Unnecessary Pain and Inflicting Damage In The Coming Years.” (One might think that would abbreviate to STUPIDCY or STUPAIDITCY, but one would be wrong.)

This replaces my previous favorite bill-name acronym, the USA PATRIOT Act, which stood for “Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism.” (I strongly disliked the act itself, but I was amused by the acronym.)

Any other favorite acronyms from bill names?

    I am compelled to note the Fair and Reciprocal Tariff Act, which was proposed but not actually submitted under that name.
