Forb

I think it's bizarre that the word "forb" isn't in more widespread use. It seems like it would be frequently useful—from "I've got forb growing in my window box" to "Duuuuude! Killer forb!" to "My lawn is made up of grass and forb" to "The old witch went into the forest to pluck forb." And yet, the first time I encountered the word was sometime in the past year or two, and I've still never seen it used anywhere other than the dictionary. What's up with that?

I think if it were more commonly used, it would sound less goofy. Like "frog"—that's one weird word, but we're used to it. Forb. Forb. Forb. Ribbet.

Can you tell I'm a little punchy? Time to get back to editing.

ya know…spell check doesn’t even pick up on the fact that “forb” is a word.
