Auctioning services
Cute fake eBay auction of one (1) ass-kicking. Seller will visit buyer's house and kick their ass. Good to know that in America, we're still free to auction anything we want. (Not clear to me whether this was once a real auction that eBay took down, or whether it's entirely fake.)
This whole uncertainty-what's-true-on-the-Web thing seems to be a recurring theme these days. There's a cute Repository of Lost Legends at the marvelous Snopes Urban Legends site that provides information on some particularly startling ULs, such as the fact that Mr. Ed was really a zebra. Be sure to read the opening paragraph of that Lost Legends page, and definitely don't miss the last UL on the page.
