Phatter than Falstaff
Back in college, I was a writer for a radio sketch comedy show, "Off the Cuff." One of the pieces we did was a Shakespeare Rap; unfortunately, we'd never really listened to any real rap, and I suspect it wasn't very good as rap.
I've heard a couple pretty good rap pieces recently, but I'm still not knowledgeable enough to judge it on its own merits. So I can't say whether a real rapper would enjoy "It Raineth Ev'ry Day," a Shakespeare-reference-filled rap piece by the Council of Doom, but I enjoyed it. Among my favorite lines are "like my man Richard Gloucester I got a little hunch" and "You can kiss my ass like Titania did Bottom."
