Final Nebula ballot announced

The final ballot for the Nebulas was released last week.

Due to the somewhat convoluted eligibility rules, about two-thirds of the fiction on the list was published over a year ago. Interesting. Of the short stories, my clear favorite is Sherwood Smith's "Mom and Dad at the Home Front," which I just read the other day in the Hartwell/Cramer Year's Best Fantasy; reminds me a fair tad bit in certain ways of Jo Walton's "Relentlessly Mundane," though certainly a different story.
