Heffalump identifier identified
Okay, turns out it was Amy (one of the three Amy Ss) who first correctly identified Eleanor's species. Thank you, Amy! And my apologies for the misattribution. I had originally thought it had been Amy, but managed to confuse myself because I knew the name Eleanor had come from Nao and I thought the name and species arrived together.
Another comment of Amy's (to the effect that she didn't suggest any names) reminds me to mention that I don't want to give the impression that I went into this naming thing with my mind already made up; there were several that I liked, and if the voting had indicated strong antipathy to Eleanor, I'd have been less likely to choose it. But it was the name I liked best of the top ten vote-getters.
