Productive
After dinner, went to café with Kate and we wrote for about 45 minutes before the café closed. Then we went back to her place and wrote for another hour or so. Also chatted, mostly about reading and writing (and cats). In all, I wrote something like 1000-1200 words, and integrated another 1000 words or so of a previous attempt at this story. Am v. pleased, though am in get-words-on-paper mode and will probably eventually have to toss and/or revise a fair bit of what I wrote. (The most common feedback I receive about my stories, as I may've mentioned, is "Your story starts on page three.") Ah, well, so it goes. Have scheduled time to do this again.
Other plan for this week: trying once again to get further ahead on edits. Should be doable if I spend a little time on it, as several upcoming stories are v. short.
Was hoping to get some political links up tonight, plus relevant commentary, but think I'm too tired to do a good job of it. Perhaps in morning.
