Ideomancer meets Jay Lake

Talented and prolific author/editor/reviewer Jay Lake is the Featured Author of the new issue of Ideomancer, and editor Mikal Trimm's interview with him contains (among other things) an inspired bit of silliness in answer to Mikal's question "Rene Descartes or Jean Paul Sartre: Who would win in a no-holds-barred, steel cage death match?"

(Sorry to link outside the frameset, Ideomancer folks; wanted to link directly to the interview rather than having to tell people to follow links.)

Jay, always a gentleman, also provides compliments to various of y'all writer types. (If that doesn't get people to go read the interview, I don't know what will.)

Tempest! If you keep telling people about my closet, you won’t get to play in it anymore.

Mea culpa, Celia. i will not mention your closet in public anymore. ::opens the door just a crack to slide Jay some chocolate:: There, that should keep him quiet for a while.

Oh, sure–give the interviewee all the credit! Do you know what I had to do to get that guy sober enough to answer the questions?! Sheesh!
