And Joe provides another Jed-cheering item: a set of quasi-koans from the book Zen Judaism: For You, a Little Enlightenment, by David M. Bader. I was particularly tickled by these three (first two quoted on that list, third one from the book's site):

Drink tea and nourish life. With the first sip, joy. With the second, satisfaction. With the third, Danish.

Be here now. Be someplace else later. Is that so complicated?

If you meet the Buddha on the path, show him the photos of the grandchildren.
