Sexless in the City

There's a very funny article in Boston Magazine about involuntary celibacy, titled "Sexless in the City," by Steve Almond. In my browser, the main page shows only a few paragraphs of the article; to see the rest of it (which is well worth doing), I had to click the "printable version" link, which is not, contrary to my momentary expectations, a version of the article with all references to sex expunged.

Point 1 of the five-point plan made me laugh out loud.

    alas, it’s not so funny if it’s describing YOU.

    and while it may be true that in some circumstances, women who don’t get any are considered virtuous, that doesn’t exempt them from being considered pathetic, too.
