SH benefit reading in San Francisco Saturday night!
Reminder: This month's Writers With Drinks is a benefit for Strange Horizons.
When: Saturday, Sept. 11, starting at 7:30 p.m. (About 17 hours from now!)
What: Reading and spoken-word variety performance.
Where: Make-Out Room, 3225 22nd St., San Francisco.
Who: Brandon Sanderson (Mistborn, The Wheel of Time); Bonnie Burton (StarWars.com, Girls Against Girls); Kirsten Imani Kasai (Ice Song); Shailja Patel (Migritude, Dreaming in Gujarati). Plus the inimitable MC stylings of Charlie Jane Anders, of course.
How much: $5-$10 sliding scale, no-one turned away for lack of funds.
I'll be there, though I won't be reading or speaking. If you're in the area, come join us! This time I'm going to try to get there earlyish and get a table, but we'll see.
