Defense poetry

First there was John Ashcroft singing; now there's Donald Rumsfeld's poetry.

Funny thing is, all sarcasm aside, I kinda like some of those poems as poems, even if some of them are kinda scary when viewed as official pronouncements of the Secretary of Defense. Hart Seely (author of the article) did a nice job making editorial selections and adding line breaks.

I particularly like this philosophical tidbit:

Things will not be necessarily continuous.

The fact that they are something other than perfectly continuous

Ought not to be characterized as a pause.
