FOGcon in Bay Area this weekend!

I keep forgetting to post about the fact that FOGcon, a new-as-of-last-year Bay Area speculative fiction convention, is this weekend in Walnut Creek, easily accessible by BART.

For those who haven't heard of it, FOGcon is “a literary-themed [...] con in the tradition of Wiscon and Readercon” This year's theme is The Body.

The “Honored Guests” this year are Nalo Hopkinson and Shelley Jackson, but the latter will be attending only virtually. But Nalo will be there in person.

Other attendees will include a bunch of other cool people. Mary Anne and I will be heading up thataway in a couple hours.

Membership is available at the door: a full membership for the whole weekend, or a one-day membership if your time's more limited.

You can view the programming schedule online, although some items have no doubt changed since the schedule was finalized.

Hope to see some of you there!

Sorry I missed you! We had a trip out of town planned for that weekend. I hope you had a great time.
