Interesting New York Times article (may require free registration, but the NYT is good about not doing anything with your contact info) about the secret CIA office that was in WTC building 7, which collapsed in the aftermath of the 9/11 attack. Didn't realize that the CIA went around actively recruiting foreign citizens visiting the US to spy for them.
Interesting, I wonder if it was Iranians who intentionally got recruited that way. For the purpose of submitting bogus info regarding Iraqi WMDs… with the intention of creating their current enviable situation, both their traditionally hostile bordering nations are mired in war with (what used to be) their richest distant enemy…
Other than a slight rise in border security issues, (good people refugees coming, and violent people leaving to join in the fighting)
It seems like a win-win-win situation.
