Song videos

Two fun videos of songs, otherwise unrelated:

  • A very entertaining rendition of "The Twelve Days of Christmas," by a collegiate a cappella group called Straight No Chaser, from a 1998 concert. (P.S.: If you're as culturally clueless as me, knowing about a certain other song may come in handy at some point.) (P.P.S.: My understanding from the comments is that the core of the arrangement was written by Richard Gregory in 1968, and that it's been performed by a bunch of other a cappella groups in the past, but this performance does a couple of new things with it.)
  • George W. Bush performing "It's the End of the World As We Know It," more or less, plus lots of political commentary. (P.S.: If you're like me, you may need to refer to the lyrics to have even half a chance of following the fast parts.)
