Valentine abstraction
Aaron pointed to some art pages by Christoph Niemann, including a nice bit about turning classic artwork into a bathroom-tile mosaic (which I'm pointing to mostly because I like the subway-map tiles in the P.S. at the end). Another of the pages was one of Niemann's "gallery" pages, showing notes on illustrations for articles.
I thought the various items were kinda cute, but the one I really liked is at the bottom of the Department of Tips and Tricks piece, the part labeled "The Abstract-o-Meter." Similar to something from Understanding Comics, but I like this rendition better.
