Help out Edward Bryant by bidding on cool stuff!

Acclaimed science fiction and horror writer Ed Bryant has been having some medical and financial issues lately.

So some friends of his have put together an auction to raise money to help him out.

There'll be a live auction at MileHiCon in Denver this coming weekend, but for those of us who won't be there, it's being supplemented by an eBay auction, which includes stuff that won't be available at the live auction.

And time is running out; most of the eBay items expire four days from now.

There's all sorts of stuff available: a pencil drawing by Thomas Canty from Feast for Crows; two fountain pens used by Peter Straub to write two of his novels; three handcrafted pieces of beadwork by Vonda McIntyre (a “featherless boa,” a sea anemone, and a nudibranch); getting a character named after you in a Carrie Vaughn book; and a bunch of books and signed manuscripts and such.

And the big item:

Lunch with Neil Gaiman.

So head on over to the auction page. Good stuff for a good cause!
