The Dead Phone: A comic monologue in one brief act
Me: Oh, no! My phone has run out of battery!
Me: Alas! I cannot read while I walk, as I usually do!
Me: Hmm. I hear that there's this thing called Nature, and this other thing called Being Aware Of The World Around You. Perhaps I should try it as I walk through this parking lot.
Me: [Looks around] Hmm. Trees. Buildings.
Me: [Looks up] Oh, look! Pretty blossoms on a tree!
Me: [Suddenly stumbles over speed bump, nearly falls.]
Me: [Resolves to stop looking at Nature.]
