Survivor of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Happened across this article a couple weeks ago: "The Luckiest or Unluckiest Man in the World? Tsutomu Yamaguchi, double A-bomb victim," by Richard Lloyd Parry, an approximate reprint (with minor changes) of his 2005 article "To hell and back."

It's the true story of three men from Nagasaki who were working in Hiroshima the day it was bombed. They survived, and went home to Nagasaki, in time to be bombed there as well.

It's a remarkable story, well worth reading.

Makes me think of the woman who was on the Titanic both times that it crashed. Yes, really.
