Items: Friday morning linkery

A few cute and/or fun tidbits (mostly visual) from skimming the last couple days' worth of Twitter:

Added a little later: Jedi religion founder accuses Tesco of discrimination over rules on hoods. On the one hand, I don't really approve of Tesco's anti-hood rule. On the other hand, I love their response. The Jedi guy said he was required by his religion to wear his hood in public; Tesco's pointed out that "Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Luke Skywalker all appeared hoodless." (They added: "If Jedi walk around our stores with their hoods on, they'll miss lots of special offers," which I found very amusing but I can't say it's a good reason to ban hoods.) (Thanks, Wendy S!)
