Baby news
A few tidbits about this fall's crop of babies among my friends:
- Dan P has finally gotten around to announcing his and N's imminent parenthood.
- Tim has posted assorted entries about the first two weeks of River's life, including the latest, Unexpected Advantages of New Fatherhood. Mary Anne and I went and saw Heather and River the other day, and heard the harrowing birth story. Heather has also been posting; here's her latest update. I'm sorry things have been so rough. But I was very pleased to meet River nonetheless.
- Beth notes that C's water may have broken, and they may have a three-week-early Thanksgiving baby depending on how things go this evening.
(Added later: Occurs to me to mention my pal Jack Mantis's First Law of Babies: "No plan survives contact with a baby.")
