People in our workshop mix up Zed's and my names all the time, to the point where even I once accidentally called him "Jed" during a critique. (Incidentally, I was hoping that we could get a Zed, Jed, Ted, and Fred photo at Potlatch, but apparently one of the participants objected. Alas.) But apparently workshoppers aren't the only ones who sometimes have trouble telling us apart, as shown by The Case of the Unwitting Cyrano. I was thoroughly tickled when Zed first told me that story, so I'm pleased that he's posted it publicly so I can link to it.
