Brief note handwritten on what looks like about a third of a sheet of 8½" x 11" unlined paper (cut off unevenly from the rest of the page).

Written in pencil. In several cases, I apparently wrote the word and then erased it (incompletely) and rewrote it in roughly the same place, so several of the words have sort of ghost echoes of themselves in the background. My first palimpsest!
