1984, December 29: Letter from Jay to G&H

One-page handwritten note, in pencil, on three-hole-punched lined notebook paper.

This was with the preceding letter; it’s possible that Jay sent both of them in the same envelope.

Dear Grandma & Grandpa,

Thank you very much for the pillow & the clock. I use the pillow every night, but I am not sure where I will put the clock yet. For Christmas from Peter, I recieved a rather expensive heavy jacket. Other presents I recieved were: two checks, juggling balls, gift certificates See’s Chocolates, a renewal on our National Geographic Subscription, and some other things. The Seahawks Miami game is about to start, and I think I will go watch it. My friends and I are going to go to the pizza parlor today, get a couple of large pizzas, and see the Niners and the Giants game, which I hope won’t be too boring. Once again thank you for the presents.

Love,

Joaquin
