Peter, Marcy, Jed, and Jay

Marcy wonders how to get Jed and Jay home from the trip to see George and Helen. “The 150⁰⁰ for the plane flight up there just about did us under - now we are back up to zero but not sure what to do.”

A brief update from Marcy. “hoping you’re all survived from your multitudinous surgeries, Grandpa, and thoroughly enjoying your leisure.”

A note from Marcy on the occasion of George and Helen preparing to head off on a trip to Hawaiʻi. “Peter was overjoyed to get his maroon pants back, and wore them for four days running. No, the days were running, he was mostly driving.”

Marcy talks about various trips and plans and life updates. “But today we got up too early for [a kid who was visiting] & he was tired, and ’Quin fell off an airplane wing (an old Navy fighter, painted blue and sealed and set in a huge sandpit and made safe for kid climbers) and I had to sit and judge the relative merits of their respective grouchinesses.”

Addendum to the previous letter, thanking George and Helen for gifts and mentioning that a couple of friends got married.
